Academy on Stage Theater Group

The Academy on Stage Program is for the committed pre-professional actor/singer/dancer who is ready to take their training and performance to the pre-professional level.

 

Academy on Stage students will receive personalized, in-depth acting, vocal, and dance training from working regional theater and Broadway professionals.  Their course of study will teach them scene work, vocal technique, dance skills while elevating their performance and presence.

 

Members of Academy on Stage will attend all three APAA Pre-Professional Core Theater classes (Musical Theater Exploration on Tuesday, Elements of Comedic Performance on Thursday, and All Things Shakespeare on Saturday) each week during the Winter/Spring session and will be cast in featured roles in excerpts from Something Rotten, West Side Story, Romeo and Juliet, Kiss Me Kate, The Taming of the Shrew and more during our outdoor arts festival, "The Bard at BellWorks".   Academy on Stage students will also sing in our ballet production of A Midsummer Night's Dream.

 

Participation in the Academy on Stage Program is by audition only.

Academy on Stage is being offered offered for $720 for our 6-week session.
