AXCBT Core Program

The AXCBT Core Program is for the committed dancer who is ready to take their training and performance to the pre-professional level.

AXCBT Core students will receive personalized, in-depth dance technique study and will be mentored by AXCBT professional dancers.  Their course of study will teach them proper ballet technique, strength, flexibility, and body alignment.  Special attention will be given to musicality through live music classes and work in contemporary and modern techniques will round out their training.

AXCBT Core students will attend all three APAA Pre-Professional Core Dance classes (Contemporary Ballet/Pointe on Monday, Ballet Technique (with live music) on Friday, and Ballet/Pointe (with live music) on Sunday) each week during the Winter/Spring session and will develop their performance and presentation skills while dancing alongside AXCBT professional dancers in our spring production of A Midsummer Night's Dream as well as performing in excerpts of West Side Story during our outdoor arts festival, "The Bard at BellWorks"

Participation in the AXCBT Core Program is by audition only.

The AXCBT Core Program is being offered for $720 for our 6-week session.

Application to the program and registration for classes can be done by contacting Elyse at elyserosati@axelrodartscenter.org.
