APAA COVID-19 Protocol
Students in all APAA classes are required to
wear masks and maintain social distancing.
Students in any of the following categories
may NOT participate in APAA LIVE workshops:
• Diagnosed with COVID-19
• Under orders to quarantine related to COVID-19
• Showing any symptoms related to COVID-19
• Fever of 100 degrees or greater
• Cough
• Shortness of breath or difficulty breathing
• New loss of taste or smell
• Vomiting or diarrhea
• Chills
• Living in the same household as a person with a lab-confirmed COVID-19 infection or showing any symptoms related to COVID-19
• Having close contact with a person with lab-confirmed COVID-19 or showing any symptoms related to COVID-19
• Having underlying health conditions that put them at high risk as defined by the CDC
• Living in the same household with someone who is in a high-risk category as defined by CDC
Parents’ COVID-19-related daily responsibilities:
• Parents/guardians should be alert for any symptoms of COVID-19 and keep students at home if showing any signs of illness
• Parents/guardians should monitor students’ contact with those who have COVID-19 or the above outlined symptoms and keep students home if they meet the criteria listed above
• Parents/guardians should teach children proper hand-washing techniques
• Parents/guardians should teach children how to properly wear a cloth face covering
If you determine your student should not attend class(es) in-person,
they are more than welcome to take them virtually.
